RealRate is built to help you understand your side hustle income. Your financial data is yours — RealRate stores everything on your device and in your own iCloud account. We do not sell or share your personal information.
RealRate collects no personal information. All data — gigs, sessions, expenses, and settings — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and never transmitted to our servers.
If you have iCloud enabled, your RealRate data syncs across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RealRate uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and purchase receipt — no name, email, or other personal data is shared.
If you grant permission, RealRate sends local notifications to remind you to log your sessions. These are generated on-device and are not transmitted anywhere.
RealRate does not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. No usage data is collected or transmitted.
All app data is stored on your device and, if iCloud is on for RealRate, in your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit — not in iCloud Drive. To delete your data, delete your gigs in RealRate while iCloud sync is on; this removes them from this device, from iCloud, and from your other devices. Deleting the app removes only the copy on that device — data already synced stays in your iCloud account and returns if you reinstall.
RealRate is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
