Daily Devotions is a scripture and reflection app. It has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. Every devotion, reflection, and setting stays on your device. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Daily Devotions collects no personal information. All app data — reflections, favorites, read dates, streaks, notification preferences, and Bible translation choice — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults, and is never transmitted to our servers (we don't have any).
Anything you write as a personal reflection stays on your device only. It is never uploaded, backed up to a server we control, or shared with anyone.
If you opt in, Daily Devotions sends a daily local reminder. You're only asked to enable this the first time you mark a devotion as read — never at launch. Reminders are generated on-device and can be turned off anytime in Settings.
The widget reads today's devotion and your selected Bible translation directly from local storage on your device. It does not access the internet or share data anywhere.
The optional tip jar ($0.99, $2.99, or $4.99, all one-time consumable purchases) is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Daily Devotions does not use any third-party payment or analytics SDK, so no purchase data is shared with anyone but Apple.
Daily Devotions does not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. The only diagnostics are Apple's built-in, on-device crash and performance reports, shared with the developer only according to your own iOS privacy settings.
All app data lives on your device. Deleting the app permanently deletes your local data, including reflections, favorites, and streak history.
Daily Devotions is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
