WordSage is a vocabulary game. It has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. Your progress stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud account. We do not sell or share your personal information.
WordSage collects no personal information. All game data — streaks, scores, known words, purchased hints, and settings — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData, with Keychain used for the same stats as a secure backing store. None of it is transmitted to our servers (we don't have any).
If you have iCloud enabled, WordSage syncs your progress across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This data lives in your personal iCloud private database and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.
WordSage offers one in-app purchase: 10 Literacy Lifelines for $0.99, a one-time consumable — not a subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit; WordSage does not use any third-party purchase or analytics SDK, so no purchase or usage data is shared with anyone but Apple.
If you opt in from Settings, WordSage sends a daily local reminder to protect your streak. Reminders are generated entirely on-device, are never transmitted anywhere, and can be turned off at any time.
WordSage does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites — no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown because no such tracking occurs. The only diagnostics are Apple's built-in, on-device crash and performance reports, shared with the developer only according to your own iOS privacy settings.
All app data lives on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account. Deleting the app permanently removes local data. To remove synced data, delete it from iCloud storage in your device settings.
WordSage is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
