By downloading or using Gratitude Bestie, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

Gratitude Bestie is a personal journaling app for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the app.

Advertising

Gratitude Bestie's free version displays banner advertisements served by Google's AdMob. Ads are subject to Google's own terms and content policies, which are outside our control. You may remove ads entirely with the optional purchase described below.

Purchases

Gratitude Bestie offers one optional in-app purchase, processed through Apple's App Store:

• Disable Ads ($0.99, one-time) — removes all in-app advertising. It is a non-consumable purchase, is not a subscription, and never renews or auto-charges.
• As a non-consumable, this purchase can be restored at any time via "Restore Purchases" on any device signed into the same Apple ID.
• The rest of the app — journaling, photos, emotion tagging, Trends, Memory Lane, streaks, and themes — is free and not gated behind any purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

Your Data

Your journal entries, photos, and tags stay on your device and, if enabled, your own iCloud account, and belong to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including how advertising data is handled.

Emotion Tagging

Emotion tags are generated automatically by an on-device model as a suggestion based on your entry's text. They are provided for personal reflection only and are not a psychological or clinical assessment.

Disclaimer

Gratitude Bestie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The app is intended to support personal reflection and journaling, and is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
