No. Your entries, photos, and tags are stored locally on your device and, if you enable it, synced privately to your own iCloud account. There's no server of ours that receives your journal content.
Yes — the free version shows a small banner ad via Google AdMob. A one-time $0.99 purchase (Disable Ads) removes it permanently, on every device signed into your Apple ID.
It asks your permission before allowing ads to be personalized using tracking data shared across apps and websites. Declining doesn't limit any app feature — you'll still see ads, they just won't be personalized.
No. An on-device Core ML model reads your entry's text directly on your device and suggests an emotion tag from 15 categories. Your journal text is never sent to a server for this or any other purpose.
Yes. Disable Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, so it can be restored anytime via "Restore Purchases" on any device signed into the same Apple ID — including after reinstalling the app.
Open Settings inside the app and toggle Daily Reminder on or off, and adjust the reminder time — it defaults to 8pm.
