Tap Duel is a reaction-time game. It has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. Your stats stay on your device. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Tap Duel collects no personal information. All game data — reaction times, scores, streaks, unlocked icons, and settings — is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers (we don't have any).
If you sign in to Game Center, Tap Duel submits your scores to Apple's leaderboards and uses Game Center to match you with opponents for online duels. This is handled entirely by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Game Center is optional — every solo mode and same-device duel works without it.
During an online match, iOS may ask for local-network permission. It is used only to connect the two players' devices for the duel — match data travels between the players via Apple's GameKit, not to us.
In-app purchases (icon packs and Tap Duel Pro — all one-time purchases, no subscriptions) are processed by Apple through the App Store. Tap Duel uses RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt — no name, email, or other personal data is shared.
If you opt in, Tap Duel sends a daily local reminder to protect your streak. Reminders are generated on-device, are never transmitted anywhere, and can be turned off anytime in Settings.
Tap Duel does not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. The only diagnostics are Apple's built-in, on-device crash and performance reports, shared with the developer only according to your own iOS privacy settings.
All app data lives on your device. Deleting the app permanently deletes your local data. Leaderboard scores submitted to Game Center are managed through your Apple ID.
Tap Duel is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
